The human rights organisation Fairsquare reported the president of the International Football Association Board (FIFA) to the IOC's Ethics Council, alleging that he had "repeatedly given his political support to US President Donald Trump."
However, the IOC rejects the complaint.
The report falls outside the jurisdiction of the IOC's Ethics Commission, an IOC spokesperson told the AFP news agency.
The IOC Ethics Commission has carefully analysed the report from Fairsquare.
Infantino is one of the IOC's approximately 100 members and has sworn an oath that requires members to act independently and without influence from commercial and political interests.
