The reason is the repeated threats to take over Greenland.
Landry had been invited by a private tourism company, and the Greenland Dog Sledding Association (KNQK) has previously called the invitation "totally inappropriate."
"KNQK has been informed that the company that invited US Governor Jeff Landry has now unilaterally withdrawn the invitation," the association writes on Facebook, noting that "it feels reassuring."
