The day after the violent crime that shook the small community outside Alvesta, barriers remain up around the villa where two girls were found injured and taken to the hospital. One has life-threatening injuries and the other is seriously injured. A man suspected of trying to kill the girls was found dead near the villa shortly afterwards.
"We are not looking for any other perpetrators," said Katarina Rusin, police spokesperson, on Sunday morning.
The police investigation continues during the day.
"The focus has been on ensuring that those affected receive the right care, and then we will take a closer look at what the injuries look like and what may have caused them."
