A woman in her 70s died last summer after colliding with a police car on emergency response. The preliminary investigation is now being dropped – again, reports SVT Örebro.
The accident occurred in July last year. The preliminary investigation was dropped due to lack of evidence, but was reopened in March when the prosecutor considered the basis for the decision to be insufficient.
However, since it is impossible to prove whether it was the woman or the police who drove through the red light, or who was negligent or reckless, the investigation is being dropped again.
