Ukrainian skeleton star Vladyslav Heraskevych wants to be able to compete with a helmet adorned with images of Ukrainian athletes killed in the war in his homeland.

But, according to Heraskevych, the International Olympic Committee is now blocking it, citing a rule that prohibits political statements during the Olympics.

"I can't understand how this helmet can hurt anyone. It's there to honor athletes," Heraskevych told the AP.
