The new service will, among other things, enable users to "discreetly" view so-called events, which normally disappear after 24 hours, AFP writes.
Subscribers will also have increased control over which accounts are allowed to see photos and videos uploaded to events.
The new service is now being tested in "a number of countries around the world," a spokesperson says.
According to TechCrunch, a subscription will cost around two dollars per month, equivalent to just under 20 kronor.
