Bianca Ingrosso's stalker will not be granted leave to appeal, the Supreme Court has announced. The Court of Appeal's ruling is therefore upheld.
The now 39-year-old man was sentenced to five months in prison for unlawful persecution by the Svea Court of Appeal at the end of October. The Court of Appeal, in turn, upheld the district court's verdict.
According to the district court, the persecution had included eight cases of harassment, one case of sexual harassment and two cases of unlawful threats, Dagens Juridik reported.
According to the court, it is clear that the 39-year-old's actions have had a major impact on Bianca Ingrosso's well-being and on her ability to practice her profession.
