27-year-old Engen represented Barcelona 152 times in various competitions and won 13 titles during her four seasons in the Catalan club. Among these titles are two victories in the Champions League, 2023 and 2024, as well as four Spanish league titles.
Lyon states that Engen's technical skills make her a versatile player who can be used both in central defense and in midfield for the club.
Engen has been selected to play in the European Championship in Switzerland next month, along with her new teammate in Lyon and compatriot, the superstar Ada Hegerberg.
