The running star Jakob Ingebrigtsen's and his sister's legal representative claims in his pleading that Gjert Ingebrigtsen should pay a total of 400,000 Norwegian kronor in damages. Gjert Ingebrigtsen is charged with having assaulted his son, the running star, Jakob Ingebrigtsen, and his daughter for several years when they were minors.

The 24-year-old son and 19-year-old daughter's plaintiff attorney, Mette Yvonne Larsen, fully supports the prosecutor's presentation of the case and demands a sentence of two and a half years, which was announced on Tuesday.

Larsen also says in her final argument that Gjert Ingebrigtsen should pay damages.

When it comes to Jakob, who has lived with this for ten years, I think we should at least reach 200,000, she says and means that the amount should be the same for both children.

As for the daughter (...) She had to move out of the house. She felt it was necessary. The consequences for her have been more visible than they have been for Jakob. It's not natural to distinguish between them, said the plaintiff attorney.

Gjert Ingebrigtsen denies the crime and shook his head during the plaintiff attorney's argument.

The trial ends on Thursday.

Corrected version: incorrect title of the plaintiff attorney, changed throughout.
