Eritrean Dawit Seare sprinted past Ingebrigtsen on the final stretch outside Parken and won in a time of 12.56 - three seconds ahead of the Norwegian.
They were running at an extreme pace. The first two kilometres went fast. It was far ahead, and I had to take the lead. But it cost a lot of energy, and I was happy that I didn't lose the silver medal, a tired Ingebrigtsen tells NRK.
Simon Sundström finished 31st in a time of 13.40.
