The prize is funded by the Nordisk Film and TV Fund and celebrates screenwriters in Nordic drama. The prize money is 200,000 Norwegian kroner.
"The Reserve" premiered on Netflix this spring and is about a young Filipino au pair who disappears in one of Denmark's most affluent residential areas.
The Swedish series "Färjan" received the honorary Creative Courage Award - which recognizes productions that dare to take risks and pursue new directions in Nordic television drama.
Färjan is produced by Alexander Rönnberg and Will Tennant.
The awards were presented on Tuesday evening at the Gothenburg Film Festival.
