Inflation in the eurozone rose to 2.4 in December, according to a second calculation made by the statistics agency Eurostat.
This is in line with a preliminary calculation that also landed on 2.4 percent, presented on January 7.
In November, inflation in the eurozone was 2.2 percent, according to Eurostat.
The core inflation remained unchanged at 2.7 percent, also in line with preliminary figures.
