In August, financial market participants expect inflation to be 2.0 percent one year ahead. This compares with 1.8 percent in the July measurement. This applies to both the CPI and CPIF measures (adjusted for interest rate changes and also the Swedish Central Bank's main measure).

Even two years ahead, inflation expectations have increased slightly, to 2.1 percent (CPIF), from 2.0 percent in July.

At the same time, financial market players have raised their interest rate forecasts slightly. The Swedish Central Bank's policy rate is now forecast to be 2.0 percent in a year's time, up from 1.9 percent in July.
