This year's titles for the Adlibris Prize have been selected by a jury consisting of Adlibris book experts, who have made a selection "based on the books' sales and potential."
The trend of celebrity books is clearly visible in the children's and youth categories, where Dolly Style, Niklas Strömstedt and the collective IJustWantToBeCool have taken their places. The novel category this year includes Mirandy July's popular "Alla fyra" (All Four), as well as "Fars rygg" (Father's Back) by Niels Fredrik Dahl.
Somewhat unexpectedly, “Welcome to Our Marriage” by Julia Dufvenius and Christopher Wollter – the controversial portrayal of a marriage marred by infidelity and sexual abuse – is competing in the non-fiction category. Other titles include “Child Soldiers: How Gangs Kidnap Our Future” by Evin Cetin and Jens Liljestrand and “White Island: The Standalone Sequel to the Expedition” by Bea Uusma.
The winners are voted on via the Adlibris website . Voting opens on November 4 and runs until December 7. The winners will be announced on January 28, 2026.
