But it clearly points upward for electric cars.
"A stronger private market and launches of new electric car models are contributing to the development. Light trucks and buses had a strong month while heavy trucks declined," writes Mobility Sweden.
"In May, 25,985 new passenger cars were registered, which is 1.2 percent more than in the same month last year. During the first five months of the year, the passenger car market decreased by 1.2 percent," the organization adds.
