Confidence in the future among Swedish export companies is on the rise. A new survey from Swedish Export Credit (SEK) shows that more companies are expecting, among other things, stronger order intake.

SEK's Export Credit Barometer index weighs companies' expectations for the coming year regarding the financial situation, liquidity, order intake and employment in Sweden.

After a more negative outlook in the spring survey, the index now turns up from 22 to 35.

"It is positive that confidence in the future is now recovering in the Swedish export industry. Companies are testifying to a more stable situation and a clearer confidence in both demand and future investments," says Magnus Montan, CEO, Swedish Export Credit, in a press release.
