TV4 confirms to the newspaper that a "rule violation" occurred in the villa in Cyprus where the reality show is filmed.
"We acted immediately when it was brought to our attention. For privacy reasons, we will not comment further," said Joel Bendrik, executive producer for "Love Island," to Expressen.
According to the newspaper's information, the incident occurred in the evening but did not come to the production's attention until the following day.
The latest season of "Love Island" began airing on TV4 Play on January 26th with Johanna Nordström as host.
