In Flames are going their separate ways with their drummer Tanner Wayne, who has played with the Swedish rock band since 2018, writes Göteborgs-Posten.
"It is with deep gratitude and appreciation that we announce our decision to go our separate ways with Tanner Wayne on artistic grounds", writes In Flames on social media.
No replacement has been presented. In Flames' next concert is in Tallinn, Estonia on June 2 and the summer is full of performances, including in Motala, Docksta on the High Coast, Borlänge, and Huskvarna.
In Flames are thus one in a row of bands that have replaced their drummer this spring, notes NME. Apart from the Swedish rock giants, bands such as Foo Fighters and Guns N'Roses have fired their drummers. Zak Starkey was also fired by The Who – twice.
