IMF Approves Loan to Argentina

The International Monetary Fund's (IMF) board has approved a rescue package of 20 billion dollars to Argentina.

Buenos Aires will, as part of the agreement, begin to ease control over the country's exchange rate from Monday, says the country's finance minister Luis Caputo.

The IMF has come to Argentina's rescue countless times over the years. Argentina owes the IMF over 40 billion dollars since before.
