Neil Young and his backing band Crazy Horse are taking an extended, unplanned break in their ongoing North American tour due to several illness cases within the group, reports Billboard.
This is the first time Neil Young and Crazy Horse have toured together in ten years, but health issues have made it impossible to continue with the "Love earth" tour, writes Young, 78, on his website.
"Some of us fell ill after the gig in Detroit. Unfortunately, we still haven't recovered, and therefore have to take a long break. Health always comes first. We apologise to those whose travel plans are affected."
It is not known which musicians are struggling with health issues.
The "Love earth" tour began in April and was intended to conclude in September. No European dates are included in the tour schedule.
