IFK Norrköping Seal Allsvenskan Return With 4-0 Win Over GIF Sundsvall

Classic IFK Norrköping’s stay in the Superettan (Sweden’s second-tier football league) lasted only one year. “Peking” beat former Superettan side GIF Sundsvall 4–0 at home, securing the club’s return to the top flight of men’s football.

Immediately after the final whistle, overjoyed Norrköping supporters streamed onto the pitch to celebrate.

Norrköping dominated the match and won comfortably.

Ryan Nelson opened the scoring in the 25th minute. Later in the first half, Christoffer Nyman extended the lead.

Nyman also scored the final goal of the match in the 86th minute. Before that, Axel Brönner had made it 3–0.

With four games left in the season, Norrköping has an unassailable 13-point lead over third-placed Varberg.
