On its website, the Allsvenskan football club writes that it will, together with a construction company, investigate and drive the issue of a new and larger arena, intended to be built in the Kviberg area.
"We want to build something unique for all blue and white and for all Gothenburg residents – and we hope that more people share the same dream", says IFK Göteborg's club director Håkan Mild.
IFK Göteborg is currently playing at Gamla Ullevi, which has a spectator capacity of just over 18,000 spectators.
