IFK Göteborg is in mourning.
Former profile Nils "Tidan" Johansson has passed away at the age of 90.
"Tidan" made 410 appearances for IFK Göteborg and was part of the SM gold team in the 1957–58 season.
He also made seven international appearances for Sweden.
"It is with sorrow that we have received the news that Nils "Tidan" Johansson has left us. Our thoughts go to his nearest. He was born in 1934 in Tidan, from which the nickname was taken, and played 410 matches for IFK Göteborg. Thanks for the memories", the club writes on X.
