During the interview, the Minister of Finance, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Justice and Minister of Defense are mentioned as important ministerial positions.

"I would consider it five very heavy positions, including the prime minister's position. If we are the largest party, we should proportionally have three of them," Åkesson told the radio.

The party leader also said that the Sweden Democrats want the post of Minister of Migration.

Åkesson expects to receive a number of ministerial posts proportional to the party's share in the election - which, according to current opinion polls, would be just under half of the posts.

"From discussions with the other parties, my experience is that the starting point must be proportionality and equal influence."

Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) commented on Åkesson's remarks on Nyhetsmorgon on TV4 on Saturday.

"All parties want to have as much influence as possible. But it is the election result that decides. You don't sell the skin before the bear is shot," Kristersson said.
