For Sanna Nielsen, it's been 20 years since the last time, while Jessica Andersson is a year away from celebrating a 20-year anniversary with "Diggiloo". Add to that artist colleagues like Ola Salo, Uno Svenningsson, and comedian Per Andersson.
Margaux Flavet, 16, is also on board, having secured a spot on the "Diggiloo" tour with her win in "Idol".
I'm looking incredibly forward to this. The best summer job, I'm so psyched, she says during a break in rehearsals.
"Love this"
The time after "Idol" Margaux describes as "a dream". She has taken a sabbatical year from high school to focus wholeheartedly on music.
I've had several gigs and then I've also been in the studio trying to write songs. I love this, music is my life, she says.
More artists on this year's "Diggiloo" tour are artist Mapei, musical artist Bruno Mitsogiannis, duo Medina, Lisa Stadell from "Mamma Mia! The party" and Melodifestival artist and "Bert" actor Arwin, 17.
So many incredibly wonderful people to hang out with and learn from. It's also going to be fun and educational to get to practice being on stage and taking an audience, says Margaux Flavet.
Real artist
In the "Idol" final in December, it was among other things an Etta James song that knocked out both the jury and viewers. The same song that Margaux, by the way, sang as an 11-year-old in "Talang" in 2020.
I'm going to do "At last" here too because it's really my favorite song. Then it's going to be "Feeling good" in the Avicii version and then we girls are going to do a version of Destiny's Child's "Survivor".
It's going to be so powerful. Now you must be able to call yourself a real artist, says Margaux Flavet.
