"Idol" Finalists Praise Margaux

Margaux Flavet is the favorite tip ahead of Saturday's "Idol" final and the competitors are the first to applaud. She is incredible, "heads down" to her, says Joel Nordenberg, who notes that all three of them are "really different".

Joel Nordenberg, according to the jury's Anders Bagge the best R'n'B singer the country has had, will perform a Justin Bieber song: "Where do I fit in".

The song comes from a broken perspective, there can be seasons when we just want to give up and throw away everything we do. For me, the song means that you get to rest in some way, that it's okay, it will be all right.

The simple answer to where he himself fits in is right here – in the "Idol" final trio. He doesn't even describe Saturday's final as a competition.

I see it as a concert. We all have different styles, then we'll see which one fits "Idol" best.

"Just fun"

Even Minou Nilsson, who will sing Christina Aguilera's "Bound to you", tones down the competitive aspect.

I just think it's fun. I love Margaux so much, you get happy for each other's successes. She's my favorite too.

Joel Nordenberg talks about his fellow finalists as friends for life, while Margaux Flavet describes them as a "sibling trio". With her 16 years, "Maggie", as she is privately called, can become the youngest "Idol" winner so far, but she is still experienced. For her final number, she has saved Etta James' classic "At last", a song she sang already in "Talang" 2020. Then she was eleven years old, a child.

I remember that evening, how happy I was. I want to end with a song that is important to me as a thank you to all viewers who have voted.

"Really nice fans"

The audience reactions have been strong, and according to the betting companies, she is the favorite to win.

I don't care about that, they can be completely wrong. I, Joel, and Minou have equal chances, we have really nice fans.

The finalists will also reprise a song, and Margaux Flavet has chosen Håkan Hellström's "Det kommer aldrig va över för mig", also a song with personal significance since she, before the first performance, had shared the story of her autism and loneliness.

It was the first time I opened up, and I got a lot of love and support.

No matter who wins, the final trio will go on a joint thank-you tour:

It will be so much fun, they have helped me to become more comfortable, to dare to talk and laugh.

The "Idol" final will be broadcast on Saturday at 8:00 PM on TV4.
