The first track, "Ritual feat. Daya", is available now. Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo describe the songs on the upcoming album as a mix of clubby beats and a poppier sound.
They lived in a shared house in Los Angeles for many years, and when both became pregnant, their children arrived just days apart.
Now the duo has moved back home to Sweden and gone through a period of personal challenges - which also affected the collaboration.
"We questioned everything! In retrospect, it really proves how strong our friendship is and the love for the band. It would have been so much easier to give up, but we did the job and came out on the other side," they say in a press release.
