New York-rapper Ice Spice has apologized for a botched performance she recently gave in Australia, writes Billboard.

She performed at the Wildlands festival in Brisbane on New Year's Eve, the day before her 25th birthday, and had a scheduled performance between 22:30 and 23:00. However, Ice Spice did not take the stage until 22:55 – and only managed to perform two songs: "Deli" and "Princess Diana". To keep to the strict schedule before midnight, the festival cut off her microphone one minute past eleven.

When she later performed in Perth, Ice Spice apologized.

I'm sorry, guys, you can forgive me. It was my birthday and it takes a long time to look like a Barbie, she said as an intro to the song "Barbie world", a collaboration with Nicki Minaj.
