A large number of vehicles were stopped for several hours on the E4 during the evening. NSD reports that some drivers barely made it forward for seven hours, even though the traffic situation improved during the night.
Even police officers got stuck in the queues.

The Swedish Transport Administration warns of difficult road conditions on the route until 6 a.m. on Friday. According to NSD, there will be continued traffic problems after midnight.
