ICA Group profit jumps 67% as sales rise 5% to SEK 51.1 billion

Net sales rose 5 percent to SEK 51.1 billion.

According to the interim report, the positive profitability trend is explained by "strong volume growth, efficiency improvements, property acquisitions and temporarily increased costs in the previous year."

ICA adds that food prices in ICA stores during the period have fallen more than the reduction in food VAT.
