ICA is expanding its previous recall of Basic-brand frozen strawberries, the company said in a press release.

The recall is due to excessively high levels of pesticides.

In December, Ica recalled a 1-kilogram pack of Ica Basic frozen strawberries with a best-before date of 13-04-27 and batch number V25 286. The recall is now being expanded to include batch number I25 286 with the same best-before date.

Customers can return the strawberries to the store, file a complaint online with Ica, or contact Ica's customer service.

Ica says in a statement that it is taking the incident seriously.
