Ica's disciplinary board is waiting to make a decision on possibly excluding the Ica retailers who the court of appeal in June sentenced to prison terms of between one and two years. The cases have not yet been finalized as the 13 individuals who were convicted in the insider affair appealed the verdict to the Supreme Court (HD). This is emphasized by a press contact at the Ica retailers' association for TT and refers to the association's press release:
"In the event of an appeal, Ica's disciplinary board awaits the completion of the ongoing process before the matter can be dealt with".
A permit process is now pending with the Supreme Court and it may take up to half a year before the HD announces whether the case will be granted a leave to appeal. Prosecutor Pontus Hamilton has told Dagligvarunytt that he "has difficulty seeing that the HD will take up an appeal in any of these cases".
