Genberg is nominated for his short story collection "Klen tröst", which was published in Sweden in 2018. But after the international success of the author's novel "Detaljerna", Klen tröst has only now been published in English.
Ia Genberg was nominated for the International Booker Prize two years ago for "The Details."
The International Booker Prize is usually considered the world's finest literary award for translated literature. The list of 13 nominees that have now been announced will be whittled down to six candidates, who will be announced on March 31.
The award ceremony will take place in London on May 19.
