1-6 against Luleå on Monday, 2-6 against Brynäs on Thursday, and now 2-7 against rival Färjestad.
HV71 is having a tough time right now, having lost eight of their last nine matches in SHL.
We need to get some life into it. Talk and somehow find some pride. That we represent a club that people have come to see, and that we play for the club and what's on our chest, says coach Anton Blomqvist to TV4.
Saturday's match against Färjestad barely got exciting.
It took seven minutes for Axel Bergkvist to open Färjestad's goal account for the day. And just over ten minutes later, the home team had scored three more goals.
We come out incredibly weak. We don't win a single battle or duel. We know we're in a tough spot, but I think we've fought back before, says Blomqvist to TV4 after the first period, and continues:
If we look back to a few days ago, I think we come out and have a good start against Brynäs, but today it looks hopeless. And it's painful to see.
It didn't stop there, as HV71 let in three more goals, and when the third period was played, the final score was 7-2 to Färjestad.
HV remains second to last in the table with only 15 points from 20 matches.
