Loss after loss and crisis headlines. Then suddenly the bottom team HV71 rose and outclassed Djurgården, 7–3. A relief, says criticized coach Anton Blomqvist to TV4 Play.

The three-pointer was the bottom team's only third of the season and HV71 came to the match with three straight losses and most recently a terrible 3-8 loss to Skellefteå.

Then star Jonathan Ang stepped forward and made five points, two goals and three assists.

Loanee Hugo Pettersson had been called home from the loan to hockeyallsvenska AIK - where he had made a success - and was responsible for a goal and two assists.

HV71 is still last, but the win means a lot.

The start we have to the season will be with us for quite a while, we have to handle that situation, but it's fun how we grow into it and dare, says Blomqvist about the big win over the newcomer.

HV71 made three goals in powerplay and injured star defender Andreas Borgman made one of the goals, his first after returning to the club.

Luleå turned a deficit of 1-3 into a win with 6-3 away against Färjestad. Last season's gold team made three goals within 2.27 in the second period in the turnaround where the Norrbotten team had six different goal scorers.
