Police were called out on Saturday to investigate after an encounter between a hunter and a bear ended with the bear being shot.
“It was clearly an emergency situation. The person had just fainted from fear,” police investigation leader Jonas Tynér tells the newspaper.
Police do not suspect any crime in connection with the incident. The bear is said to have been taken into custody.
