A hunting dog was shot dead and the dog handler was exposed to danger, according to an indictment against a hunter in Halland.

The prosecutor claims that at least two shots were fired without clear visibility during a wild boar hunt in Laholm municipality in November last year, reports SVT News Halland.

The hunter is being prosecuted for violating the hunting law and causing danger to others. He has said in an interview that he believes the dog should have had a reflective vest, since it had the same color and size as a wild boar.
