An officer, residing in southeastern Skåne, is penalized with a ten-day salary deduction, reports Ystads Allehanda. This follows several incidents related to a night out last year.

The officer is said to have used coarse sexual language, asked intimate questions, and even touched colleagues on the back without their consent, writes the newspaper. The day after the night out was the Total Defense Day, when there was an open house and display for the general public. Then, the officer lay down in one of the Defense Forces' vehicles – and fell asleep.

The Defense Forces' personnel responsibility board states that the officer's behavior goes against the Defense Forces' values, and that it is not acceptable that he slept on a day when the general public saw him. They believe that the actions cannot be considered minor.

According to Ystads Allehanda, the officer admits that certain statements "had a sexual character", but claims that he only rested in the car.
