The subsidies go towards, among other things, increasing soldiers' salaries by 3.8 percent.
The legislative package, which includes over 3,000 pages, also establishes several of President Donald Trump's executive orders and proposals, including ending diversity initiatives in the military.
Meanwhile, the Trump administration is being pressured to share unedited videos from the high-profile and criticized attacks on alleged drug boats off the coast of Venezuela. The bill threatens Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth with partial travel funding cuts if he does not allow members of the House and Senate to view the video footage.
