Fery defeated Italian Flavio Cobolli in straight sets in front of his home crowd on Centre Court in London. The scores were 6–4, 7–6 (7–4), 6–0.
"It gets better and better with every match. It's unbelievable. I can hardly believe it," Fery said in the TV interview after the match.
Fery is the lowest-ranked men's player to reach a semifinal since 2001.
"I'm so happy. I'm just going to keep going and see where it ends," he says.
In the semifinals awaits German Alexander Zverev, who beat Taylor Fritz in straight sets in his quarterfinal.
