Next season, TV4 will take over the television rights to the Swedish men's football championship. The channel plans to focus on coverage seven days a week, on-site from stadiums and from the studio, the company said in a press release.
"This will be a new way to follow the Swedish league where we fully utilize our large editorial team and our platforms," said TV4's sports director Johan Cederqvist in the press release.
Selected matches will be broadcast on TV4's linear channel, including the Allsvenskan premiere between last year's runner-up Hammarby and the reigning Swedish champion, Mjällby, on April 4. All matches from the 2026 Allsvenskan will be shown exclusively on TV4 Play.
