The in-work tax credit has been strengthened three times, and pensioners have had their basic pension deductions increased accordingly.

The tax on ISK savings has been abolished for amounts up to SEK 300,000.

Food VAT has been halved from April 1, 2026, until the end of 2027.

The interest deduction for unsecured loans has been removed.

The housing allowance for families with children has been increased.

Preschool fees have been reduced.

The tax reduction on gasoline and diesel was further increased in the government's spring 2026 budget.

A new electricity subsidy is planned for the summer of 2026.

However, child support has not been increased. Nor has maintenance support.

The ceiling in the unemployment insurance fund has been raised, but benefits are now being phased out more quickly.
