Three more people are said to have been injured, according to Anees al-Asbahi, spokesperson for the Huthi-controlled health authorities. The USA has not confirmed the attacks.
According to media outlets controlled by the Huthi movement, the attacks have targeted areas controlled by the extremist movement. These include attacks on water infrastructure in the port city of al-Hudayda, on the extremist movement's northern stronghold Sa'dah, and on the northwestern region of Hajjah.
The Huthis, in turn, have attacked the US aircraft carrier USS Harry S Truman "for the third time in 24 hours", stated Yahya Saree, the movement's military spokesperson, early on Wednesday.
