Household consumption decreased by 0.4 percent in March 2025 compared to February 2025. However, compared to March 2024, household consumption increased by 1.8 percent, according to new statistics from the Statistics Sweden (SCB).
"Preliminary, household consumption increased by 0.7 percent in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the previous quarter and by 1.5 percent compared to the same period in 2024", says Thorsten Holzer, statistician at SCB in a press release.
The figures for March 2025 are preliminary.
