The overall barometer indicator for the Swedish economy rose slightly in June and remains at a normal level.
"The rise is almost entirely explained by an improved mood in the manufacturing industry, where the confidence indicator is now at the highest level since December 2022," KI said in a press release.
However, households still view the economy somewhat gloomier than usual.
"The household confidence indicator increased slightly but continues to point to a weaker mood than normal," the institute said.
