What we have now is that the boat has partially sunk. We are now working with the boat and seeing the extent of it, says Lisen Sellén, command operator at the rescue service.
The alarm was received by the emergency services around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning. The emergency services were on site shortly thereafter.
–There were reportedly people on the boat when it started to sink, but they got ashore before the rescue services arrived, Lisen Sellén tells TT.
According to the police, the people are being checked by medical personnel.
