HBO's fantasy series "House of the Dragon" is planned to stretch over a total of four seasons, confirms screenwriter Ryan Condal.
Condal gave the message at a press conference on Monday after the last episode of season two was broadcast, writes Variety. He also stated that the production of season three is intended to begin at the beginning of 2025.
"House of the Dragon", which takes place about 100 years before the predecessor "Game of Thrones", has been a major success for HBO with the largest premiere audience ever for an original series. The first season had an average of 29 million viewers per episode. The series is streamed on Max.
