Season two of "Game of Thrones" sister series "House of the Dragon" has not yet had its premiere, but now production company HBO announces that the series gets a third season.
"House of the Dragon", which takes place 100 years before its predecessor, proved to be a major success for HBO with the largest premiere audience ever for an original series. The first season had an average of 29 million viewers per episode.
Season two of "House of the Dragon", where the battle for dominance after King Viserys' death stands between "The Blacks" and "The Greens", premieres on 17 June on the streaming service Max.
