Norway has not participated in a World Cup since the 1998 tournament in France, and the national team is more popular than it has been for a long time. The Norwegian Football Association says that this autumn's matches against Denmark and Portugal in the Nations League are almost sold out.
The arena in Oslo has a capacity of close to 28,000 spectators.
Norway is in the same World Cup group as Iraq, Senegal and France and will play its matches in Boston and New York.
The ticket quota Norway received for the group-stage matches is sold out.
Norway will face Morocco in the USA while the Swedish national team will face Greece in Solna. Sweden will face Tunisia, the Netherlands and Japan in their group. The venues are Monterrey, Houston and Dallas.
