The emergency room, intensive care unit and several other hospital departments were reportedly damaged in the attack, according to the statement. Among the injured are seven hospital employees, according to the statement.
In total, according to Lebanese data, 16 hospitals have been damaged and 116 healthcare workers have been killed in the country since Israel escalated its attacks after the Lebanese Shia militia Hezbollah attacked Israel on March 2.
Overall, over 3,000 people are reported to have been killed in Lebanon in Israeli attacks during that period.
